NHSSA Features Keynote by 2023 NH Kid Governor Haydin Simmons
NH’s 2023 Kid Governor Haydin Simmons was the keynote speaker at the New Hampshire School Administrator Association (NHSAA) Statewide Meeting on September 15th. She shared all the work she has been doing during her year as Kid Governor to help end hunger and poverty in New Hampshire and promoted the New Hampshire’s Kid Governor program.
Haydin Simmons Delivers Keynote Address
New Hampshire’s Kid Governor Haydin Simmons was the keynote speaker at the Community Action Partnerships of Strafford County’s (CAPSC) Annual Meeting on May 17th. Haydin encouraged everyone to work together to bring an end to poverty and food insecurity in New Hampshire. We are so very proud of her efforts to bring awareness to these issues!
Springing into Action
New Hampshire’s Kid Governor Haydin Simmons led a “Spring into Action” food drive at her school, Pollard School in Plaistow. A full carload of food was delivered to St. Luke’s Food Pantry. They were very grateful to NHKG for all the supplies. 
Making Strides to End Hunger
NH Kid Governor Haydin Simmons attended the NH Hunger Solutions Conference on February 10th in Concord to share her platform on ending poverty and hunger in the state. She had the opportunity to meet NH Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Dellie Champagne of the NH Save the Children Action Network, and other advocates for solving hunger in New Hampshire.
