- September 23, 2026: N&V: Parent-guardian permission packet should be sent home with students.
- September 28, 2026: N&V: Recommended start for in-class Toolkit lessons. Signed permission form should be returned to the teacher by this date.
- October 22 2026: N&V: Teachers must submit their nominee’s video, entry forms, and media release forms to NH Civics by 5:00 pm. (must be received by this date and time).
- October 26, 2026: V-O: Recommended start for in-class Toolkit lessons
- October 30, 2026: Statewide Election candidates announced and voting information posted at NH.KidGovernor.org.
- November 2-10, 2026: Statewide election! (Note: NH Civics offices will be closed Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in observance of Veterans Day.)
- November 16-20, 2026: Announcement of the elected 2026 New Hampshire’s Kid Governor. (date TBA).
- January 26, 2027 (tentative): Inauguration Day at the New Hampshire State House in Concord. The 2027 Kid Governor, Executive Council, their families, and their home classes are invited to attend the inauguration in person. Participating classes can watch the event live online. (Snow Date TBD)
